30/4/15 Heart Worship

Beloved, let your worship arise to Me. Lift your voice and release the sounds and songs of your heart. Too long your voice has been locked up in silence as the schemes of the enemy have been played out in your life. Know that I hear your song as the most amazing and incredible expression of your heart. No matter what you feel or sense, begin again to release all that is within you in worship. Watch as I melt even those places that have been hardened, and strip away from you those cloaks and veils of mourning. For indeed the winter is past and the spring has just become. See even now I pour out My refreshing rains, gentle cleansing rains that will bring life wherever they flow. Lift your face and sing your songs again.

(NKJV) Song of Songs 2:10-12

My beloved spoke, and said to me:
“Rise up, my love, my fair one,
And come away.
For lo, the winter is past,
The rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth;
The time of singing has come,
And the voice of the turtledove
Is heard in our land.

29/4/15 Growth Spurt

My brothers and sisters, I call you to be aware that you have come into a period of supernatural growth. The places where you have found sluggish in your spiritual walk, will suddenly sprout forth with new vitality. Fresh understanding of how to move and share that spiritual gift more effectively will reveal itself through your dreams.

Listen for my still small voice and be ready to step out freely and boldly. Use this time of growth to fulfill my plan and purpose in your life. Look out for more gifts being released to you as you grow in confidence.

Integrity and Honour will be your battle cry; the enemy has no answer to either of these.

(NIV) Ephesians 4: 15-16

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

(NIV) Proverbs 10: 9

Whoever walks in integrity walks securely,
but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.

(NIV) Hebrews 8: 6-8d

But there is a place where someone has testified:

“What is mankind that you are mindful of them,
a son of man that you care for him?
You made them a little lower than the angels;
you crowned them with glory and honour
and put everything under their feet.”

In putting everything under them, God left nothing that is not subject to them.

28/4/15  Storms

My sons and daughters, when the enemy wants to pull you down, he brings more than one storm at a time. While you are fighting against one storm front, another will appear directly in your path, as you deal with this one, another and then another and so on. These are sent to keep your eyes on the problems rather than on me, the answer to your problems.

When all around you seems to be in complete chaos, call out my name. When the wind is howling in your marriage and nothing in your life seems to be held down, shout out my name. When your job is taken from you and everything seems pointless, reach out your hand and touch the hem of my robe, for my power will pour into every storm that tries to rob my family of their peace.

(NIV) Luke 8: 22-25

One day Jesus said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side of the lake.” So they got into a boat and set out. As they sailed, he fell asleep. A squall came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger.

The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!”

He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. “Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples.

In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.”

27/4/15 New Day

I hear your cries and prayers released from your bed in the night hours. When you awake and lift your legs over the edge of your bed, I AM there. As you put your feet to the floor, I gently lift them and begin to wash away the pain and hurt of yesterday. I cleanse away the thoughts of grief, the words of gossip, the rejection of others, but especially the rejection of those close to you.

I begin to dry your feet with a gentle towel. And as you sense my presence close to you, my love envelopes your whole inner being. You stretch and yawn as the night hours begin to pass from your memory. I begin to release my perfume, the oil of Joy over your feet, and my fragrance penetrates and rises over you.

This is a fresh new morning, leave behind all your yesterdays and rise afresh into My New day.

(NIV) John 13: 1-17

It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?”

Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”

“No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.”

Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”

“Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!”

Jesus answered, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.” For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not everyone was clean.

When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

24/4/15 Live, Love and Laugh

I lift from your life, every place where the enemy has tried to secure weights to pull you down and keep you in a place of continuous fear and worry. He makes you believe that you are not performing and even that you are not good enough. He is a liar and wants to keep you trapped in this place for he fears you more than you know.

My kingdom is not about performance it is all about love, when you start with love, everything flows out of that heart. You my beloved will live a life of laughter and joy. My gift of life, which was purchased upon the cross and through my resurrection, brings true freedom and acceptance as one of my family.

(NIV) 1 John 4: 17-19

This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

We love because he first loved us.

(NIV) Psalm 126: 2-3

Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”
The Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.

23/4/15 My Church

My church is not stone and brick. My church is built on every living individual heart that knows me and confesses me as Lord and Saviour. Each one of you are living stones being built together as my living breathing church.

You, my family are called to be the stepping stones on which many will climb upon to reach freedom in their own lives. You are built upon the cornerstone for your foundation is sure and steadfast. You will not be shaken as the storms of life flow through and around you.

Step out with boldness, wrapped in the confidence of your birthright as sons and co-heirs. All that is mine is yours.

(NIV) 1 Peter 2: 4-6

As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For in Scripture it says:

“See, I lay a stone in Zion,
a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in him
will never be put to shame.”

(NIV) Romans 8: 16-18

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

22/4/15 Everyone does not look like you

My sons and daughters there are many different people around your lives, who do not look or even sound like you and yet they are fully mine.

Give grace to all, even when you come into places of disagreement. There is no room for discord within my family. You are called to love one another. Pray for those who abuse and use you, that they may see the error of their ways and come into freedom by moving away from the hurts of the flesh and into the light of my Spirit.

My beautiful bride you are called to walk in the paths of peace with all around you, forgive quickly and bring my prodigals fully into the arms of the Father.

(NIV) Hebrews 12: 14-15

Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

(NIV) Luke 15: 31-32

“‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found

21/4/15 Interwoven Lives

Beloved, I have woven your life together with many other lives, some are for a short season, while others are for life. From each relationship, learn to grow and mature regardless of how good or bad each was or even is. I am constantly teaching and training you to rule and reign. I am more interested in your character than in what you do. I want to stretch you beyond what you see merely with your natural eyes and cause you to look and see with my eyes. Look and look again. Even out of those difficult and even cumbersome relationships see how you have grown. Cherish those closest to you, but realise that out of places of difficulty, iron has indeed sharpened iron.

(NIV) Romans 5:3-5

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

(NIV) Proverbs 27:17

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

20/4/15 Choices

Beloved, this is not a time to sit on the fence. It is time to take hold with both hands as you are propelled into your future. Do not merely sit and wait for it to work out, but choose to take an active role in your future. I will reward those who step out in faith and go for the more. Be a history maker and changer. Start with the little and trust me to turn it into the much.

I have placed my hopes and dreams within you, do not let them die. Fan into flame all that I have promised and placed within you. Watch as the littlest of fires consumes the largest of forests, making way for the new.

(NIV) Luke 16:10a

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much……….

(NIV) 1 Kings 17:13-14

Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’”

(NIV) 1 Timothy 1:6-7

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

17/4/15 Clearing the Way

Today is a day for breakthrough. The things that have been blocking your walk and your future are being removed from your path. The way before you my sons and daughters has been cleared, the ground has been made level.

Do not let your eyes be deceived by the veil of lies that has been released around you. Remove the veil of mourning and see clearly again my plan and purpose for your life. You are anointed and refreshed, rise up and be the man or woman you are called to be. You are a warrior dressed for full warfare, you wear the breastplate of righteousness, and your feet fitted with readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. My beloved, take up your shield of faith and watch as the flaming arrows of the enemy fall to the ground, never reaching their mark. Place the helmet of salvation upon your head and strap the sword of the spirit to your thigh, praying in the Spirit in all things continually.

Step into battle knowing that it is already won!

(NIV) Ephesians 6: 10-18

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

16/4/15 Living Word

Do not allow the world and the face of man to bring fear into your hearts. They have set themselves on high places and called themselves gods in their own eyes. They have every idol of wood and plaster, metal and precious stones set before them. Their obelisks will tremble and fall before the might of my great army.

You, my beautiful one, are set apart, you are the beacon upon the hill, the light that destroys all darkness, you, my beloved, are the one who calls to the lonely and the lost, the tired and the broken.

The very earth that you walk on, is about to tremble with my thunder. The pillars set forth to hold this earth will be shaken as I pour out my love for my people. The wonders in the heavens will become a normal occurrence spoken about each new day, by people all over this world.

My family know and understand the changing of the seasons. My Living Word is written upon their Hearts.

(NIV) Job 9:6

He shakes the earth from its place
and makes its pillars tremble.

(NIV) 2 Corinthians 6: 14-18

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

“I will live with them
and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they will be my people.”

Therefore,

“Come out from them
and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you.”

And,

“I will be a Father to you,
and you will be my sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty.”

(NIV) 2 Corinthians 3: 2-4

You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
Such confidence we have through Christ before God.

15/4/15 The Last Call

My sons and daughters know that the time is short, for surely the “Last Call” has been issued upon the earth. Even now do you not hear the sound of the trumpets as they herald in the end of the “Last Days”? While there is still light let the workers bring in the harvest. This is a time where the reaper will be overtaken by the sower. Look and see the fields are white unto harvest. Do not delay, do not hold back! Many are waiting for My love to be revealed to their hearts, through you. Now is the day of salvation!

(NIV) Amos 9:13

“The days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman
and the planter by the one treading grapes.
New wine will drip from the mountains
and flow from all the hills,

(NIV) 2 Corinthians 6:2

For he says,
“In the time of my favour I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you.”
I tell you, now is the time of God’s favour, now is the day of salvation.

14/4/15 House Building

I have anointed you to carry supernatural strength and ability in all that you do and say. Do not hold back when there is a need in your family, community and even church. You are all in the construction business. Come let us build the Kingdom together.

What does the house look like that you are building? That I may come and dwell in with you. Is it large and roomy, comfy and clean or small but beautifully put together? Does it have a white picket fence and a garden filled with flowers of every shape and size, with the air infused with perfume?

I live in you and you my family construct where we will dwell together. Are you a good builder? Do you take time over the construction and even the blue prints of our home? The detail is in the small things, prayer, love, hope, the living word, faith, joy, peace, and repentance. These things are what cements brick to brick and slowly but steadily a home will begin to be revealed in all its glory, fit for a family birthed in Fire.

(NIV) Ephesians 2: 20-22

built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

(NIV) Luke 6: 47-49

As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”

13/4/15 Worshipless is Powerless

My beloved family, when you allow the troubles of each day to build up around your life, it will slowly bring a strangle hold around your desire to lift your daily worship to me. When your song stops and my words are not released to your heart, you will sense the draining away of all your spiritual power, and a deep tiredness will seep over all that you do, this happens to pastors all the way to the doormen and those who serve tea and coffee.

Worship is like the nectar, it is the honey that sustains our very beings, when each of us worship we include ourselves in the choir of heavenly hosts. As we sing about love and hope the living wells inside of each of us spring forth with fresh living waters, that rise within us and refresh every part until saturation, and then it flows freely out of us and into all the lives around.

If you, my sons and daughters, sense today that you are tired, lift your voice and begin to sing, open my word, and sing the psalms. Wait upon the Spirit and he will refresh you. Watch as my power and authority fill you to overflowing.
(NIV) 2 Peter 1: 12-13

So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have. I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of this body.

(NIV) Psalm 23: 2-4

He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

10/4/15 Time waits for no-one

Beloved, do not hesitate to embrace all that life holds for you. Surely the days will fly faster than you can imagine. Choose this day to live fully for me, so that when you are old, you will not look back with regret wishing you had loved more and taken more risks.

No matter what age you are just now, there is more for you to embrace. Do not let your fears (False Evidence Appearing Real) of “what if” stop you from fulfilling the dream that I have placed in you. Step out and take those risks, realise that I reward your “Faith”. Take the challenge and arise. Come soar with me and watch as the weights drop away. Gaze in My face and see your dreams and hopes take flight. See My goodness and My love for you in operation.

(NIV)Psalm 103:15-18

The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts.

(NIV) Psalm 37:4

Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

(NIV) Matthew 6:28-34

“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

9/4/15 Crying in the night

I have heard your cries as they have ascended in the night seasons. I have listened as you have poured out your heart to Me again and again and again. I would say to you that your season of weeping is over. It is time to arise, lift up your head and walk into the new day that I have called you to. There is much to be accomplished and many who have yet to hear about My love and compassion for them. Do not stay where you are. Close the door and move forward. My grace is over you in this season to allow you to move into all I have called you to. You have many lives yet to impact and to call into their destinies.

It is time to arise and go!

(NIV) 1 Samuel 16:1

The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king.”

(NIV) 1 Kings 19:13b-19

Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”He replied, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.”
The Lord said to him, “Go back the way you came, and go to the Desert of Damascus. When you get there, anoint Hazael king over Aram. Also, anoint Jehu son of Nimshi king over Israel, and anoint Elisha son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah to succeed you as prophet. Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu. Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel—all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him.” So Elijah went from there and found Elisha son of Shaphat.

8/4/15 Destroy the tools of the past

I have called you to leave the things of the past. It is now time to destroy the tools you once used. Do not hold onto them as sentimental ornaments to decorate your house or your life. They belong to the old not to the new. Clear out all that you no longer need or use. You will sense your spirit rising afresh as you do so.

Not only clear the physical things but begin the work of allowing me to transform your thinking, removing and replacing that stinking thinking that has held you tightly to the old patterns. I have called you as My people to move with Me, to flow freely with My Holy Spirit in freedom and release.

(NIV) Luke 9:57-62

As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.”
Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”
He said to another man, “Follow me.”
But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”
Still another said, “I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.”
Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”

(NIV) 1 Kings 19:19-21

So Elijah went from there and found Elisha son of Shaphat. He was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen, and he himself was driving the twelfth pair. Elijah went up to him and threw his cloak around him. Elisha then left his oxen and ran after Elijah. “Let me kiss my father and mother goodbye,” he said, “and then I will come with you.”
“Go back,” Elijah replied. “What have I done to you?”
So Elisha left him and went back. He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his servant.

7/4/15 Babies?

Beloved, it is time for your cravings to change from the milk to the full truth of My Word. You desire to grow and to move more fully in My Kingdom, yet you still cling to childish behaviour. I am calling you to lay it aside and follow Me full heartedly. You cannot cling to the things of this world and cling to Me at the same time. There has to be a choice to let the things of the world go, if you want to embrace all that I have for you. I have plans for your life, that are beyond your very thoughts and understanding. Your vision is too small and your understanding of Me is too limited. Will I not lead and guide you? I have your best interests at heart, beloved. Choose this day to grow and mature in Me.

Hebrews 5:12-14

In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

6/4/15 Waterfalls

When you look up to a fast flowing waterfall, and watch the water falls to the pool below. Look deeper and see the sun dancing in, and through, every droplet that falls. Watch as the spray that rises is filled with the colours of my rainbow. The mist slowly falls refreshing the plants and flowers that grow up the side of the waterfall. It still comes to rest in the pool below. All that falls into this pool is then washed out and on down the river, it continues to flow.

My family, like this waterfall, there are many things that fall into your lives, not all are healthy and sometimes like the mist, they fall slowly and build up over time. Is there someone who has offended you and you have allowed that offence to build into animosity and even hatred? It has been refreshed by the mist of time!

Open your eyes and watch, as what falls into your life, must come to rest in the pool of your being, but from there it will flow out on my living water. Allow what hinders you and robs you to flow away from your life. There is no greater love than one who gives up his life for his friends. Are you willing to give up your offence for your friends, brothers, sisters and even your pastor and church?

Allow the pain to flow away into the distance of time.

(NIV) Psalm 42: 7-8

Deep calls to deep
in the roar of your waterfalls;
all your waves and breakers
have swept over me.
By day the Lord directs his love,
at night his song is with me—
a prayer to the God of my life.

(NIV) John 15: 12-13

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

3/4/15 Move and flow

The enemy comes to steal and destroy, he will try to infiltrate your dreams and tell you that you are weak and unable to hear what I speak over you through the Holy Spirit. He will say light is dark and that you are not able to stand up against him, he will tell you that you are a loser and that you are not called or anointed.

Notice that he can only talk, he has no power or authority over you, only what you allow to land in and around you. Let not your heart be troubled for you move and flow in my spirit even in your dreams. You my daughters and sons carry full kingdom authority in your dreams to tell him to go in my name. Watch as the dreams of the night hours, begin to change and transform into powerful times of revelation, of my plans and purposes, even the blue prints to this coming age.

(NIV) John 14: 26-28

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

“You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.

2/4/15 Word and Spirit

Family we live in a time where health and fitness is very much at the front of all we do. We run and eat well to keep the body in shape, we swim and exercise to keep supple, but when it comes to the Word and Spirit, there are many who do one or the other. If a weight lifter pumps the iron only on one side, he will become imbalanced. So it is with the Word and the Spirit.

My family, both the Word and the Spirit need to be in operation in your life so that you will be spiritually strong and properly balanced in all things. Do not ignore one at the cost of the other. All things work together in me to make you strong and healthy.

(NIV) 1 Corinthians 2: 3-5

I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.

(NIV) Hebrews 4: 12-13

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

1/4/15 Which Road?

There are many who are being challenged in their walk at this time. Do you go back to the things of the past, where you found comfort and you tried to fit in, even with those things which you did not agree with, where you were happy to not rock the boat? Or do you choose to look ahead and walk forward?

It is the same path but you are also aware that you control what happens in and around you. For it is by your free choice as to how and when you step out. There may be some pitfalls here but you can easily manoeuvre around these.

Then there is the, path less travelled before you. This road I will walk with you. There is no need for fear here. You will not know what is before you, but your hand will be in my hand. There is such a depth of trust in you. By faith you will walk in honour and in humbleness to your fellow man. Here you will hunger after the lost and even pursue them, so that they will be counted among the great harvest. You my beloved will walk in righteousness and truth. A beacon to all who follow you onto the path that leads to the Kingdom.

(NIV) Matthew 7: 13-14

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
