2/4/18 Fresh Fire

I am opening your eyes to the wide open vistas that lie before you. Too long have you looked only at the immediate circumstances that lie all around you.

I am repositioning your heart to seek My face first and foremost. You have been very careful and busy about My business, but now it is time to simply BE! No more striving.

Watch and see what I will do, while you rest and relax. Doors will open before you, that you haven’t even pushed and openings will occur that you didn’t see coming. All will flow from a place of rest in Me.

You will learn to speak forth My words, as I cause you to open your mouth, even at the most unexpected and unusual times. My word will come alive inside you, and your heart will burn with a fresh passion. I am fanning the fires of your heart afresh.

(NIV) Malachi 3: 2-4

But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner’s fire or a launderer’s soap. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the Lord will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness, and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the Lord, as in days gone by, as in former years.

(NIV) Matthew 3: 11

‘I baptise you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

(NIV) 2 Corinthians 4: 16-18

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

3/4/18 Values?

What do you value? Where have you set your heart? What are your eyes fixed on? On the world and all it has to offer? Money and possessions? Do you worry about what to wear, or what you are going to eat? On your family, friends, jobs? Or are your values in line with My values?

The world’s values are not My values. My values, consist of loving Me with all your heart, soul and mind and loving others as yourself. So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you. The fruit of My Spirit is another of My values, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Forgive others as I forgive you. Let the talk that comes from your mouth build others up and not tear down. These are just a few of My values.

It’s time to realign your values with mine!

(NIV) Matthew 6: 19-21

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

(NIV) Matthew 6: 25-34

‘Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

‘And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labour or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendour was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you – you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?” For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

(NIV) Colossians 1: 1-2

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

4/4/18 Fly Free

I watched as a mighty eagle rose into the skies. It opened its wings and shook its’ feathers. Each feather preened and made ready for flight. The eagle’s eyes were fixed upon the horizon, as it rose higher and higher into the skies. Suddenly, this mighty eagle was being followed by crows and ravens, each one harried the eagle by trying to peck at its tail feathers, to try to gain its’ attention upon them. The crows and ravens continued their attack, and began to swamp the mighty eagle, and disrupt its path and flight plan. The eagle gathered its’ strength, and with a beat of its’ mighty wings, began to lift away from those that harried it. As the eagle sensed, it was not far from finding the thermals that would carry it beyond their reach. As it soared upon the thermals, it left behind everything sent to hold it back from My horizon.

My family, know that there are those who will come around you when you seek to soar upon the thermals of Holy Spirit revelation, who have their own plan and purpose. They will nip at your tail feathers, until you turn from your destination, and allow them to steer your course.

Seek Supernatural heights that can be attained through your personal relationship, as you fix your eyes upon Me. I AM your horizon, and your flight plan has been birthed and planned by my hand.

Open your wings, and sense the air of Holy Spirit fire, lifting you to new heights.

The Mighty Eagles are Rising.

(NIV) Psalm 139: 8-10

If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.

(NIV) Deuteronomy 28: 6-8

You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.

The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.

(NIV) Isaiah 40: 28-31

Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

5/4/18 Uncluttered

Will you take a look around your life, and begin to remove that which has become a distraction for you?

Yes, it is “YOU” that I am speaking to, the one reading this word.

There are things that you have become attached to, that give you a false comfort, and they have a hold in your life and your walk, that can be detrimental to you and Holy Spirit within you.

My beloved, you hold my heart in your hands, as I hold yours. We grow daily together, through a relationship birthed in love, and filled with power and fire. Holy Spirit is your teacher, and he will guide you in the way that you should go.

Unclutter your life from everything that holds you back from me, and take command once again, over the emotions and structures of all relationships, bringing them into alignment with MY Love.

(NIV) Luke 10: 38-42

As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

(NIV) John 14: 15-27

“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realise that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?”
Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

“All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

(NIV) Philippians 2: 1-8

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross!

6/4/18 Mind Control

My family, be aware to whom you give permission to speak into your daily living, and especially your thought life. Whoever captures your thoughts, can then go on and bring control, and direct the very path you walk upon.

Whoever controls your thoughts controls YOU!

There are many who say “I follow this teaching or that teacher”, others chase after the pedestal of influential limelight. Then there are those who will only listen to the New Voice being released upon the World.

I say to you today my beloved family, step back and listen to the heartbeat of my Kingdom, sense the depth of My Love for you and all around you. Begin to recognise My still small voice, it will come to you as a whisper upon the wind of Holy Spirit. Free your Mind and thoughts and allow them to be renewed with Kingdom Wisdom.

What shall be revealed to you through the supernatural veil, will bring clarity to your daily walk. The places of confusion will fall away, as you move with confidence ever forward in My Will, as your thoughts are being renewed daily.

(NIV) 2 Corinthians 10: 4-5

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

(NIV) 1 Corinthians 1: 10-31

I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas”; still another, “I follow Christ.”

Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptised in the name of Paul? I thank God that I did not baptise any of you except Crispus and Gaius, so no one can say that you were baptised in my name. (Yes, I also baptised the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I don’t remember if I baptised anyone else.) For Christ did not send me to baptise, but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”

Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

(NIV) James 3: 16-18

For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

9/4/18 Hidden Treasure

I AM, releasing the precious jewels that have been hidden from the view of others around you. The vault of your heart is being opened to reveal my glory from within you. Where you have struggled to move forward, it will become as easy as taking a step.

Step out today, and pour over everyone, the treasure chest of your life. Watch as my love pours forth as a river of molten gold. It will touch and change everything that comes into contact with it. The old will be covered by the new.

You have the keys in your hand, to open the treasure houses of your nation, where the abundance of every life is stored.

They have been closed up and hidden away for too long. Now is the time to bring supernatural light of revelation, to where these mighty doors have been locked and their contents hidden, where no light has been allowed to penetrate. They are now being opened by the power of my love, through the light of your heart.

(NIV) Isaiah 45: 2-3

I will go before you
and will level the mountains;
I will break down gates of bronze
and cut through bars of iron.
I will give you hidden treasures,
riches stored in secret places,
so that you may know that I am the Lord,
the God of Israel, who summons you by name.

(NIV) Colossians 2: 2-4

My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.

(NIV) 2 Corinthians 4: 5-7

For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

10/4/18 Geronimo!

Are you prepared to take that leap of faith my family, into the highest calling I have for your life? It will take all of you and, every breath that you take will belong to me. Will you draw together your resilience and courage in the face of a worldwide enemy, that has come to destroy My Kingdom and My Name upon this Earth?

I seek the warriors and the battle front generals. You know who you are, for your spiritual ears are tuned to Holy Spirit and His teaching. You have practiced and learned the weapons of warfare. The edge of your sword is keen, for it is sharper than a double edged sword, as it is wielded by faith.

I have brought revelation in the night hours, and revealed to you my blueprints of this coming battle. The plans are set in the hearts of my family. You are ready, so don the spiritual armour that I have given. It carries no weight for you, as it was made in the liquid fire of my Kingdom armoury. It has been tried and tested supernaturally just as you have been.

(NIV) 2 Peter 1: 3-11

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

(NIV) Hebrews 4: 12-13

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

(NIV) Ephesians 6: 10-18

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armour of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

11/4/18 My one

Beloved, you are the one I sought and found. I left the others, to look just for you, and to draw you into My place of safety. I rejoiced when I found you, as did all of heaven. Do you think I won’t care for you now? I am the one who cleaned you up and healed your wounds. I gave My life for you. Even though you were like a sheep without a shepherd, I drew you with My loving kindness. I am your shepherd and I pour My healing balm into every wound. I dry your tears with My hands. I know the cost, for I have paid it for you. You are My one. My love is a jealous love. I have, nor will I, ever leave or forsake you. My arms are a safe place for you to run into. Relax into My love and be secure.

You are My One!

(NIV) Luke 15: 3-7

Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbours together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

(NIV) Psalm 139: 7-12

Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.

Isaiah 53: 1-6

Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

12/4/18 The Lie of Complacency

Have you heard yourself say, “Everything will be better tomorrow”, but tomorrow comes, and the situation is still the same. Nothing changed in your circumstances, because you did not change.

I challenge you to turn around and become the catalyst of change in your family, and in the situations you find yourself in. Reach out to me in prayer, and cover every part of your life and circumstances with my cloak of righteousness. You will watch as I bring closure, to what stands up against your walk of faith.

I will once again bring truth into what has risen up against you, and the lies of the enemy will be revealed. You will close the mouths of your accusers, and silence the rhetoric of the demonic hordes.

The change comes when you, my beloved, fix your eyes fully upon me. You will turn around and walk in the opposite direction away from complacency, and each new day will become filled with fresh possibilities. As you take on more and more of me, you will make decisions based upon Kingdom Wisdom, and your flesh will have no more say in your emotional wellbeing.

Turn this day and walk with me into the greatest adventure, which is your life made complete in ME.

(NIV) Mark 11: 23-24

“Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

(NIV) Romans 6: 12-14

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

(NIV) James 1: 3-5

Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

13/4/18 Fear the Silencer of the Saints

When the enemy wants to bring silence to the people of God, he will try to bring control and manipulation into your sphere of influence. You will be named and shamed as a hater, and the enemy will try to ruin your reputation and good name. As this onslaught continues, the creeping fear of silence will try to engulf every word and steal your peace. You will become dormant and you will always be looking over your shoulder, for where the next attack will come from.

You, my family, have been called to stand up in the face of the enemy, and speak out My Living Word, even in the midst of the battle front, without fear and fear of repercussion. Your voice carries the full power and authority of My command as I live in you. The Holy Spirit has your back, and you have been called and anointed to stand in the gap, for such a time as this. Others will shrink back but you know deep within you, that you do not have that luxury, for you are the voice of the lions Roar.

Revival has a cost, and that cost will be the loud voices of My Family saying “This far and no more”.

No more silence, release your Kingdom “ROAR”.

(NIV) 1 Peter 3: 13-15

Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.” But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.

(NIV) 1 John 4: 17-19

This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the Day of Judgement: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

We love because he first loved us.

(NIV) Luke 4: 18-19

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.”

(NIV) 1 Corinthians 2: 4-16

My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.

We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written:

“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”—
the things God has prepared for those who love him—

these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgements about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgements, for,

“Who has known the mind of the Lord
so as to instruct him?”

But we have the mind of Christ.

16/4/18 Stained Forever

I watched as you raised a cup full of new wine to your lips. You drank it down and you were refreshed. Each new day you rose from your slumber and picked up your cup. As time passed, you began to notice that the cup was becoming stained inside.

You, my beloved, drink from my cup every day, and are refreshed as, my new wine fills every part of your being. You choose to lift my cup to your lips and you drink in all of me.

As time passes, your heart and even the very core of your being, becomes stained with my new wine.

Many only look at the outside of you, but I have established within you my dwelling place, and the bouquet of my wine is, the fragrance that you release from the depths of your supernatural being.

Pour out the new wine, that is within you my beloved, for there are many empty cups to be filled.

(NIV) Matthew 9: 16-18

“No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

(NIV) Mark 10: 38-45

“You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said. “Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptised with the baptism I am baptised with?”

“We can,” they answered.

Jesus said to them, “You will drink the cup I drink and be baptised with the baptism I am baptised with, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared.”

When the ten heard about this, they became indignant with James and John. Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

(NIV) Psalm 116: 12-14

What shall I return to the Lord
for all his goodness to me?
I will lift up the cup of salvation
and call on the name of the Lord.
I will fulfil my vows to the Lord
in the presence of all his people.

17/4/18 Whose voice?

I watched as a river boat race took place, and I watched as the Cox shouted clear and concise directions that all the rowers followed. They knew when to speed up or to slow down, how to and when to change direction. They worked as a team following the instructions from the Cox. They trusted the Cox to direct, encourage and correct, as and when necessary. They did not rely upon themselves or, their own senses. The Cox did not bring these things from themselves, but rather from the coach of the whole team, from whom they had all received their instructions. The Cox carried the coach’s full authority on the water.

Today, whose voice are you listening to? Are you being led by your own understanding and perceptions, or are you relying on My Holy Spirit? I sent Him to bring comfort, direction, encouragement, and to bring you into all truth. First, learn to know His voice and listen to Him for the directions that I will give. They will be clear and concise. I will not bring confusion into your midst, but clarity.

As you listen, learn, and obey, you will be directed in the right path. Even if you have erred, you will find yourself being gently realigned.

(NIV) John 14: 15-18

‘If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you for ever – the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

(NIV) John 14: 23-27

Jesus replied, ‘Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

‘All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

(NIV) Romans 6: 17
But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance.

18/4/18 Take off your Coat

It is time my friend, for you to remove the coat of protection, which you put around your shoulders, when the storm was at its worst. You buttoned it up, and pulled up the collar, and felt safe within its folds, as the storm raged around you. Protected in your own cocoon, you became solitary and pushed all help away. The storm died down, but never left. Here you remain, your voice muffled in the wind.

Open the buttons of restriction and pull your arms free, take off the garment of self protection, and allow me to calm the storm. I will place around your shoulders, the robe of righteousness, and as you allow me to take command in every area of your life, you will be amazed at the freedom that will become your daily portion.

There will be nothing to hold your arms down at your sides, you will raise them above your head, and we will dance together, in the puddles as the grey skies melt away, and the breath of my wind will blow the storm clouds away. Blue skies will fill your vision, as the lark sings its song of summer.

(NIV) Zechariah 3: 3-4

Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. The angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes.”

Then he said to Joshua, “See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put fine garments on you.”

(NIV) Isaiah 61: 10-11

I delight greatly in the Lord;
my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
For as the soil makes the sprout come up
and a garden causes seeds to grow,
so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness
and praise spring up before all nations.

(NIV) Psalm 63: 3-5

Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods;
with singing lips my mouth will praise you.

19/4/18 Fear or Faith? Fight or Flight?

Beloved, I know that your heart has been ravaged by the turmoil that you have walked through. I have watched as you have struggled to hold on in faith, yet fear sought to overcome you and stop you in your tracks.

Today, I say to you, “Let go, yes that’s right, LET GO!”. Know that I have got you and I am underpinning you even now. You have done well to fight and not to run. Now is the time to enter My rest and My peace. Let your weary, mind, soul and spirit take refuge in Me.

At times I have called and you have been so weary to respond, yet I know that your heart is for Me and that will never change. You have been Mine since the beginning and the good work that I have begun in you, will be brought to fruition.

I say again “Let Go and let Me hold onto you.” No more struggling. Rest secure in Me.

(NIV) Song of Songs 5: 2-6

I slept but my heart was awake.
Listen! My beloved is knocking:
‘Open to me, my sister, my darling,
my dove, my flawless one.
My head is drenched with dew,
my hair with the dampness of the night.’
I have taken off my robe –
must I put it on again?
I have washed my feet –
must I soil them again?
My beloved thrust his hand through the latch-opening;
my heart began to pound for him.
I arose to open for my beloved,
and my hands dripped with myrrh,
my fingers with flowing myrrh,
on the handles of the bolt.
I opened for my beloved,
but my beloved had left; he was gone.
My heart sank at his departure.
I looked for him but did not find him.
I called him but he did not answer.

(NIV) Jude v 24-25

To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy – to the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and for evermore! Amen.

(NIV) Philippians 1: 6

…..being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

20/4/18 The Choice Is Yours?

Do you come to me with humbleness? Do you understand the fear of the Lord? Are you one, who displays a servant heart, who carries my mantle of leadership? Do your knees bear the scars of an Intercessor? Have you lifted another above your head at the cost of your own fame? Will you die for your friend? Can you pick up your cross and follow me at any cost?

Or, do you hunger after platform and power? Will you blame all around you when you fail? Should all around you, serve you? Will you be found at the top table while others go hungry? Do you see people or assets?

Choose whom shall you serve today?

You or Me?

(NIV) Isaiah 33: 5-6

The Lord is exalted, for he dwells on high;
he will fill Zion with his justice and righteousness.
He will be the sure foundation for your times,
a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge;
the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.

(NIV) John 15: 12-17

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.

(NIV) Luke 9: 23-26

Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self? Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

23/4/18 Fly Free

I will not hold you or stop you. I have not tethered you or clipped your wings, so that you cannot fly high. In fact I have become the wind beneath your wings, causing you to fly higher and higher. My heart is for you and not against you.

You have been called according to My purpose and therefore those things that I have set into place will come to pass. Nothing will separate you from My love. I trust you, trust Me. I have set you free to be who you are called to be in Me. Set aside those things which hinder, those things which so easily tie you up in knots and focus on Me.

Catch the breath of My Spirit, My“Ruach” and come, soar to new heights in My freedom.

(NIV) Romans 8: 31-39

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died – more than that, who was raised to life – is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:

‘For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.’

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(NIV) Galatians 5: 1

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

(NIV) John 8: 31-36

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’

They answered him, ‘We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?’
Jesus replied, ‘Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

24/4/18 Get!

Do you gently rebuke the devil? Do you plead with him, “Please leave me alone”? Do you say, “you can’t do that, it’s not fair”?

Realise that the devil does not play fair. You cannot ask him nicely or gently to leave you alone. You must recognise and understand your authority and tell him to “Get”. He has no authority over you.

Once in England, Smith Wigglesworth was standing on a street corner waiting for a bus. A woman came out of an apartment house, and a little dog ran out behind her. She said, “Honey, you’re going to have to go back.”The dog didn’t pay any attention to her. He just wagged his tail and rubbed up against her affectionately. She said, “Now, dear, you can’t go.” The little dog wagged his tail and rubbed up against her again. About that time, the bus arrived. The woman stomped her foot and yelled, “Get!” The dog tucked his tail between his legs and took off.

Wigglesworth said he hollered out loud without even thinking, “That’s the way you’ve got to do it with the devil!”

So today, tell him to GET!

(NIV) James 4: 7

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

(NIV) 1 Peter 5: 8-9

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

(NIV Ephesians 6: 10-11

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armour of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

25/4/18 To Live Again

My beloved sons and daughters the time of transition has ran its course. There have been many mountains around your life that have now been cast into the sea. You are ready, to walk out of the dry and arid places that you have found yourself in. I call you “out”, step into the life that is your inheritance, surrounded by my love, my hope, my care.

Live again, no more shadows, no more hiding, no more waiting and no more tears. Walk into my light and watch as I bring transformation by my Spirit, throughout every part of your life. Watch as family unity comes together, where there is separation between husband and wife I will bring peace and love. Where friends have become enemies I will bring resolution, where your children have lost their way I will bring Unity.

(NIV) 1 John 4: 12-14

No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Saviour of the world.

26/4/18 The White Horse

I watched as the most magnificent white horse reared up on its’ hind legs, whinnying with power and majesty, fully assured of the strength and vitality of life that it carried. Then I watched as this magnificent creature gently lowered its’ head and trotted over to the man that sat on the fence and very gently nudged him with such tenderness. I watched as there passed between them a depth of unspoken understanding and love.

I heard the Father say, “You have passed through such an intense season of training, where you have died to self in so many ways. I have watched as you have fought, twisted and turned in order to try to escape this season of purification and dying to self. I watched as you learned the lessons required at each level; as you chose to yield and surrender in the midst of the difficulties. It has cost you much to stay the course. Without the training you would not have been fully ready to move forward into this next season.

You know who you are and whose you are.

Now it’s time to run free!”

(NIV) 1 Corinthians 9: 24-25

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.

(NIV) Psalm 144: 1

Praise be to the Lord my Rock,
who trains my hands for war,
my fingers for battle.

27/4/18 BRUISING

Many of my sons and daughters are going through the winds of change in their lives and in their ministries.

There are storms upon storms which are leaving many bruised and battered. This is a time of transition, a moving away from the old, and the releasing of the new mantles upon my sons and daughters.

We’re moving into the time of the remnant rising out of the confusion of the religious yolk placed upon my people.

I say to you today “Let My people go “

(NIV) Matthew 12: 20-21

A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory. In his name the Nations will put their hope.

( NIV) Exodus 9: 13b

Let my people go, so that they may worship me.

30/4/18 Running?

The time for running is over. I have watched as you have tried to run further and faster to escape from my call over your life and I have let you go, for I want you to come with a willing heart and spirit to me. I will not force you, but I also will not let you go. There is nowhere you can go, that I won’t pursue you with my love. I am for you and will never leave you or abandon you. I have called you by name, you are mine. I stand with my arms open wide waiting for you, won’t you come? Yield your life to me and I will restore you and lift you up.

(Message) Matthew 11: 28-30

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

(NIV) 1 Corinthians 1: 25-27

For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

(NIV) 1 Peter 5: 9-11

Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power forever and ever. Amen.
