31/8/15 Come and be filled
Beloved, Come drink of me, come taste, come and be filled by me. Will I not fill you to overflowing? Have I not already poured out upon you blessing, upon blessing? Have I not already given you everything that pertains to life and Godliness? Why then do you hold back and refuse to come and be filled?
I am not an angry distant Father. I am not waiting to punish you for the tiniest mistake. I see what is missing from your experience of me. I will teach you and equip you, to face everything that comes your way. I am gentle and lowly of heart, and I will lift you up. I will see you smile again. With such tenderness and compassion I will encompass around you.
Come and be filled!
(NIV) 2 Peter 1:3
His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
(NIV) Matthew 11:28
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
(NIV) John 7:37
On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.
(NIV) John 6:35
Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
28/8/15 Anointed Gifting
I have released to you my family, gifts that come with Holy Spirit anointing. These gifts carry such power and authority to shift atmospheres, and even change the direction of nations. As you speak in my name, every ear will hear and every knee will bow. When you play your instruments and sing the heavenly choir sings with you. When you pray for the sick they are healed, even when you lay hands, the lame shall walk and the wheel chairs will have no occupants. The dead will be raised.
Many desire the gifts of others, the singer wants to be a prophet, the pastor wants to be able to play the keyboards, the evangelist wants to serve tea and even the doorman wants to be the pastor.
I have called you and anointed you, to be who you are, for you are unique and the gift that you carry will be excelled in you. You were created to fulfil the purpose of your gifting.
Yes it is good to go after more, but rejoice in what you have now!
(NIV) Romans 11: 29
…. for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.
(NIV) 1 Corinthians 12: 1-11
Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
27/8/15 A Fleeting Thought
When you awake in the early light of morning do you look for me? Am I the first thought of your day? As you rush around getting the children ready and out the house to school, do you stop a while and come to me in prayer with your family? Or when the rush is over, do you fall into a chair with coffee in hand and give me your exhausted five minutes?
I AM not a fleeting thought in your daily rush. I am the beginning and the end. Everything in your life, every second should be a place and opportunity for you to bring worship to my throne. When you are at work sing praises in your heart, pray without ceasing and watch as the circumstances around you begin to change and heaven begins to invade the earth around your life.
I am focused upon you every second of every day and for all of eternity. You fill my focus. I want to be around you all the time, for you are my family.
(NIV) Psalm 143: 8
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life.
(NIV) 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
26/8/15 Nation Changers, Not Destroyers!
There is a hunger rising amongst many, to see the destruction of the wicked, and their nations. I have even heard the call for particular cultures, and individual nations, to be shaken and made an example of, for their mountains and lands to slip into the sea. This will lead to hundreds of thousands losing their lives.
I hear you calling for many to be punished. Their sins seem to weigh heavily upon your conscience.
Do you know me?
I AM the one who calls all to love thy neighbour, are you really able to pick up the stones that you are hurling at the nations around you? Will their destruction show my perfect love to them or satisfy your anger and hatred?
I called my people from the very beginning of time. I have known each of their names. They are etched into the very palms of my hands. They are called to be Nation Changers who will bring My love to the Nations. They will be known for bringing Life, where only death has been. They will comfort those in need. They will stand guard, shoulder to shoulder around the nations, releasing prayers of salvation for the lost, and they will also raise these Nations before my throne and intercede for them.
You are LOVE.
(NIV) John 8: 2-11
At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
“No one, sir,” she said.
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
(NIV) 1Corinthians 13: 1-7
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
25/8/15 Heart Life
My family, live out of the fullness of your hearts, and not from your mind, for you, this is your battle ground. All warfare comes in and through your thought processes and it is here that the enemy releases his snake eggs into your thoughts. When you allow them to hatch and become a thought, you will then have to do battle with each of them. When they gain ground in your imagination, their lies become truth. You then begin to live out that false truth in your own life.
These will always come in the form of rejection for yourself played out by mysterious shadows around you. They will continuously peck at you, and try to bring you to the place of torment. Everyone who loves you will become a suspect. The way they look at you, the way they speak to you and even the time they spend with you, will become a stumbling block to every one of your emotions.
Your heart has been made clean, my laws are written upon your heart and each of you knows the greatest of these is love. When you love one another as I love you, then only the best of you will be poured out into all the lives around you, for you will not be self seeking.
The treasure chests hidden in every life will be your quest to seek and find. Then you will get to open their treasures and allow them to see how special and loved they are. My beloved, you carry the agape love of Father in the very core of your hearts.
I love your heart.
(NIV) Romans 12: 1-2
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
(NIV) Ezekiel 36: 25-27
I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
24/8/15 Popping Corks
The fruit of the vine needs to be opened, so that my bouquet can be breathed in. The cork needs to be popped, so that the wine can be poured out into the glass, then it can then be tasted and many will see that it is good.
I am the vine where each of these grapes is grown. I tend to them and care for them. When the harvest time comes I prepare them, and then I harvest them. The wine needs to be extracted from the grape, which happens under pressure and yet this is a time of celebration for the flavour is released from every single grape during this process.
When ready, I pour the new wine into new wine skins.
Beloved you are those grapes and you are My new wine, know that even when the pressures comes, something good is about to be released.
(NIV) John 15: 1-3
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
(NIV) Matthew 9: 17
Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
21/8/15 YOU! Are The Church
For too long the eyes of man has been fixated with the gothic structures of religious symbolism. These great buildings made of the finest material, and inlaid in wood and gold, have been the places of accommodation, to meet the needs of a world that wants to feel good about itself, without the heart beat of heaven, ever resounding about these monolithic halls.
My beautiful Bride, nothing in this world compares to you. I come for a spotless bride, whose perfume is carried upon the wind of change, your fragrance, gently bringing my church into my plan and purpose.
Where two or three gather in my name “I AM” in the midst of them, you are the church. Every single one who raises the name of Jesus before them, and calls me Lord, they are mine for eternity.
(NIV) Revelation 22: 16-17
“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
(NIV) Matthew 18: 20
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
20/8/15 Light of Today
Do not allow the fingers of past memories to pull you back into the darkness of the life you once had. Stand strong and stay fully in the light of my salvation. There is no way back, and no way for the past to move into the present. When the whispers start, command them into silence and embrace the truth, you are free.
I have set before you a quiet place, filled with beauty, look around you, and see the greenest of grass, hear the bubbling of the stream as it slowly meanders through the fields, sense the gentile wind, as it blows across the wild flowers. Watch as my hand paints this masterpiece of your life, feel the heat of the summers day, as even the hairs on your arms rise to the closeness of my presence.
Sit with me.
(NIV) Isaiah 32: 17-18
The fruit of that righteousness will be peace;
its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.
18 My people will live in peaceful dwelling places,
in secure homes,
in undisturbed places of rest.
(NIV) Isaiah 61: 3
To bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendour.
19/8/15 My Cross, Your Walk
We each have our part to play. When you gave all of yourself to me, I welcomed you as my family. We became one in spirit and truth. You now carry my D.N.A. It fills every part of you, inside and out. When the living word tells us to take every thought captive, it is because the enemy tries to sneak in his lies, to your mind. Walk in freedom by smashing every lie. My words spoken over your life will always be uplifting and filled with love. You are the apple of my eye.
Walk this world, as one filled by the Holy Spirit. There is nothing in your view that is bigger than the authority and power you carry in my name. Tell the mountains to cast themselves into the sea, and it will be done. Lay hands on the sick and the lame, and watch them dance before my throne.
You my family, are living representatives on my Kingdom on this earth, each of you is a perfect reflection of me, for it is “I am” who lives within you.
(NIV) 2 Corinthians 5: 16-18
So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
(NIV) 2 John 1: 5b-7
I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.
I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the Antichrist.
18/8/15 Reflections
Beloved this is a time to allow my peace to wash over you. I would have you quiet yourself. Even as you look at your reflection in a pool of water, it needs to be still for that perfect reflection to be seen. And so I would have you still your inner self and know that I am at work. I am in the business of transforming you into my image, into my likeness. Your thoughts and your plans will become one with mine as you quieten yourself to see and know me in a new way. See even now I bring you peace and stillness.
(NIV) John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
(NIV) Psalm 46:10
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
(NIV) Exodus 14:14
The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.
(NIV) 2 Chronicles 20:15
Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.
17/8/15 Kingdom Keys
The greatest weapon that the enemy sends to you my church is a key. It is a named demonic spirit and it is called fear. He places this key into your hands, and when you allow it access to your life, it will stifle you and fear will lock up every gift that I have released to you in the vault of despair.
I remind you my beautiful bride that perfect love casts out all fear, and my love for you is perfect in every way. I place into your hands the keys of the kingdom, which bring freedom to every area of your life. Watch as the key of fear melts away as butter in a fire.
You carry my authority and power. The enemy has no hold on you, for you were created to carry the gifts of The Holy Spirit, and release them freely. For there is nothing that can stop you, for you carry the keys of the kingdom, every door and every life is open to you.
(NIV) 1 John 4: 17-19
This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
We love because he first loved us.
(NIV) Matthew 16: 18-19
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
14/8/15 Snap the links
As you move deeper into relationship with me, you will become more aware of who is around you. There will be those who have such a heart of love for you, and they will always want the best for you, these are healthy relationships.
Beloved there are also those who hold your ear, people that you have high regard for, when they speak you listen, and at times you may even divert from your course or journey, because of what they say or do. These people become the links that you create around your own life. At times these links have more power over you than I do, and what they think becomes your direction.
I created you to be an individual, you are unique. It is time to snap away the links that have become a hindrance to your relationship with me, and your freedom to walk the path that I have set before you.
How will you recognise these connections? These are the ones that do not always make you feel good about who you are, their words are set to trap you into their plans and purposes. They are busy building empires, when you have been called as a citizen of heaven, and my kingdom belongs to you.
(NIV) Philippians 2: 1-11
Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
(NIV) Song of Songs 6: 9a
but my dove, my perfect one, is unique,
(NIV) Ephesians 2: 19-20
Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.
13/8/15 Unity, One Body many Parts
My family, we are moving into a time of complete unity between many people and organisations that do not look alike, or even speak alike. All will have one thing in common and that will be the name of Jesus.
My name will be the banner over all who come into unity together. I am joining together ministries and people from all over your nation. They are coming from the far north, to the deepest south, from the east to the west. What drives their hearts is for the more in me and heaven on earth.
Revival is a healing word. It can only come from a body that has been completely healed in my name. I release that healing to every part of my body, and call you to bear witness to one another, as you open your arms and hearts to one another in complete unity.
By accepting your differences, the arms need the legs of the body, for one carries revival, the other delivers it to the nations. The body needs the head, the heart embraces revival, the head brings direction and understanding of how to move all these parts together at the same time.
(NIV) 1 Corinthians 12: 12-31
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.
Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body.
The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honourable we treat with special honour. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honour to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? Now eagerly desire the greater gifts.
12/8/15 Mine
Do you ever look at yourself and your life, and sense that you don’t seem to fit into the normal pattern of church, family and even society?
My family does not look like this world or even the pattern of this world. My brothers and sisters stand out. You will recognise them. They stand on the streets offering comfort and support to the night tribes. You will hear their voices calling for justice for those without a voice. The sick shall know their touch as they lay hands in My Name and they will be healed.
My pulpits are filled with men and women, hungry to reach out to the lost, offering eternal life through salvation and the forgiveness of all sin through the name of Jesus. They serve tea and cakes, hold prayer meetings and charity events. They give of themselves selflessly each and every day.
Why? Because you are Mine.
(NIV) Isaiah 43: 1-2
But now, this is what the Lord says—
he who created you, Jacob,
he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
11/8/15 Refreshing Fire
I am stirring up the embers in your heart. They will become a roaring fire of flame. Nothing will stand in your way, as you bring Heaven to earth. As my refreshing fire pours into all areas of your ministry and family life, watch as the doors that have been closed to the words you speak, will slowly begin to open. They will feel the heat of your heart as you release my fullness and love into their lives.
The doors of their lives will open more and more, until the refreshing fire of my Kingdom, will become a roaring fire in their hearts also.
There is no defence against a fire that burns fiercely, everything it touches will be consumed and my Holy Spirit fire being released through each of you is hungry to consume the plans and purposes of the enemy and bring complete freedom to all.
(NIV) Hebrews 12: 28-29
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”
10/8/15 Momentum
You my friends are like a steam train sat in the station waiting to pull out and start on your journey.
Everything is ready. The engine has been stoked and has a full head of steam. The throttle is opened, and the train starts to gently move forward and out onto the open tracks. As the throttle is opened more and more the train picks up speed and where the countryside is passing by at a slow speed, it will suddenly begin moving faster. Suddenly, the speed at which the countryside is passing will be increased exponentially. The train will begin to transition.
The train is no longer a steam train, but that of a new high speed one, fully connected into the power source of the lines above.
I heard the Father say, “Even now I am creating a forward momentum within you and around you. Look and see what I am doing. The chains of the past have already been cut away. The old has gone and the new has come. There is no longer anything to stop you or hold you back. Everything is in place and even now is gathering speed. There is a continuing shift of focus from the old to the new. The acceleration of this time is seen in all that is around you. The days blur into weeks, the weeks into months, and the months into years. I am taking you on a journey of discovery and adventure, such as you could not imagine, even in your wildest dreams. The things that you have longed for and that seemed out of reach are now within your grasp. This season is one of acceleration and forward momentum for all.”
(NIV) Philippians 3:7-14
But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
(NIV) 2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
(NIV) 2 Peter 3:11b-13
You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.
7/8/15 Dates in My Diary
My diary is filled to the end of the age, you are on every page.
When you awake from your slumber I will be there, as I was during the dark hours of the night. When you step out of your home and go to work, I will meet you there. At dinner time and when work is over, I will walk you home. When you have eaten and sit down to relax, I will hold you until sleep calls you to bed. Then I will sit with you throughout the night.
Every second, of every minute, of every hour, of every day, of every year of your life is in My Diary.
(NIV) John 3: 34-35
For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands.
(NIV) 2 Timothy 1: 9-10
He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Saviour, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.
6/8/15 My Word a Raging River
As my word fills you and brings you to the point of bubbling over, you my friend will begin to release me to touch all the lives surrounding you. I will flow into the homes of your neighbours and friends. I will reach out and touch the lives of everyone in your family.
Those in need of healing will know my true comforter as Holy Spirit releases power and fire into their needs. Watch as those, you have released tear filled prayers for, come to know my saving grace upon their lives.
You my friend will become a raging river of revival for your home, your town, your city and even your nation.
(NIV) Luke 6: 46-48
“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.
(NIV) Isaiah 35: 6-8
Then will the lame leap like a deer,
and the mute tongue shout for joy.
Water will gush forth in the wilderness
and streams in the desert.
The burning sand will become a pool,
the thirsty ground bubbling springs.
In the haunts where jackals once lay,
grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.
And a highway will be there;
it will be called the Way of Holiness;
it will be for those who walk on that Way.
The unclean will not journey on it;
wicked fools will not go about on it.
5/8/15 Too Many Voices
When you listen to every voice that has something to say, about my Kingdom, my will, my plan and purposes, you will eventually become confused. There are many out there who do not speak for me. They try to sound and look like me but they come from another master, who has his own plan and purpose.
My church, I call you to vigorously test every word spoken to you. Take it back to the living word and if it does not line up with scripture, throw it out with the rubbish. Be aware of those preaching their own message in this season, for their hunger is for fame and fortune.
You will recognise my leaders by the servant hearts that they carry and lead with. They are called to bring celebration and to uplift each one of you into my presence, with fullness of joy. You will be their focus of attention and they will lift you up on their shoulders, and you will see further than them.
(NIV) Isaiah 8: 20
Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.
(NIV) 1 Peter 4: 8-12
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him bethe glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
4/8/15 Battle weary
There are some among you, who trudge along as battle weary soldiers, dragging your feet and complaining mile after mile. You are very aware of the heaviness of your battle armour and the scars of battle that you carry. You are tired and need to rest, and yet there is a new battle front ahead of you and you trudge on into battle, unprepared, unready and exhausted.
Hear me my warriors, your greatest battle is with stubbornness. I call you to rest, to lay down your arms, take off your battle armour and rest before me. Allow me to take your tired, bleeding feet and wash away the miles of pain. Let me pour over a healing balm, from the top of your head to the base of your feet. Ease back into my arms while I hold you and you can sleep at peace, until you regain your strength.
It is a new day; you my beloved are now refreshed, rested and ready to continue. Put on your armour and march with confidence.
(NIV) 1Peter 5: 6-11
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power forever and ever. Amen.
(NIV) Hebrews 4: 9-11
There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
3/8/15 The Bridegroom and the Bride
Whatever fills your vision or eyes, you will eventually follow full heartedly.
My family when your vision is filled by regret, impatience, rejection, hopelessness, shame and especially fear. These emotions are like a cancer in your spiritual life, each one will try to spread throughout your whole vision and eventually blind you to the truth in your heart.
Each of you are called, chosen and anointed to do my work on this earth. You are my hands and feet, my words come from your mouth. My vision is carried by you.
Fill yourself with my word. Ask Holy Spirit to remove from you, whatever is whispering lies in your ears. You my beloved are mine and we will be together for eternity.
The Bridegroom and the Bride.
(NIV) John 3: 29-30
The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete. He must become greater; I must become less.”
