Come Closer
I call to you my beloved to come closer. I want to wrap my arms around you and draw you near, to whisper in your ear and release to you the blueprints of the coming battle. I am placing into your hands the weapons that will defeat and make our enemy run from you. There is no place for them to hide, for the wind of my Spirit goes wherever he wants.
There is no rampart too high, no wall too thick.
My sons and daughters take up your weapons, and disarm the foe, for your weapons are forged in the armoury of heaven, tempered by the Living flame. Release love and hope, joy and laughter, light for darkness and Salvation from death.

Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.
