My beloved Sons and Daughters, you are moving through a time of stirring. I have been…
Rekindling
Has your fire waned, and grown cold during the night watch? Through the daily battles of this life has the flame turned to embers in your heart?
My beloved I call you to fan into flame that which I set within you, a flame of such intensity that all can feel its heat and know for whom it burns.
My Lord took my hand and led me to a large range fireplace; it was black in colour and had a metal chimney stack. The doors were black with soot, yet there was little heat emanating from the fire in the grate. I stood before it and watched as My Lord blew upon the coals and light flames began to dance across the embers and coals, as He continued to blow upon them, the flames began to grow, until there was a ` ROAR ` and flames shot out from the open door of the grate, the heat was so intense I had to move back from it. He closed the door, I began to sense the heat in the room begin to rise.
My beautiful bride,” I have released the breath of my Spirit upon the fire of your calling, tend it well.”
(NIV) 2 Timothy 1: 6-7
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
(NIV) Ephesians 4: 1-13
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. This is why it says:
“When he ascended on high,
he took many captives
and gave gifts to his people.”
(What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
